Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Zodiverse Publishing OÜ ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your information when you use Memeleon Clicker on Android, iOS, the Web, or as a Telegram Web App (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
1. Who we are
Memeleon Clicker is operated by Zodiverse Publishing OÜ, registered in Estonia. Contact us about privacy at privacy@memeleon.world.
2. What data we collect
2.1 Account & authentication
- Google Sign-In (Android & iOS): when you sign in with Google we receive your Google account ID (
sub), your email address, your display name and your profile picture URL. We do not receive your Google password. - Telegram Web App: when you launch the game inside Telegram we receive your Telegram user ID, username (if any), first/last name and language code, as supplied by Telegram. We do not receive your phone number or contact list.
2.2 Gameplay data
- Your in-game score, click count, energy level, achievements unlocked and skins owned.
- Friend and referral relationships you create inside the Service.
- Daily activity timestamps used to power streaks, daily gifts and the leaderboard.
2.3 Purchases
- When you buy a Scales pack we receive the purchase token, product SKU and order ID from Google Play (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS) to verify the purchase. We do not see or store your card or payment account details — those are handled entirely by the relevant app store.
2.4 Technical data
- Standard server log information such as IP address, user-agent string, HTTP referrer and timestamps, kept for up to 30 days for security and abuse detection.
- A short-lived session cookie set in the app's web view so you stay signed in.
2.5 Things we do NOT collect
- We do not collect your contact list, photos, microphone audio, precise location, SMS or call logs.
- We do not use third-party advertising SDKs at the time of writing. If we add advertising in the future we will update this Policy and the Play Store Data Safety form before doing so.
3. How we use your data
- To create and authenticate your player account.
- To save your progress across devices and across the Telegram / Android / iOS versions of the game.
- To show leaderboards and friend lists inside the game.
- To verify in-app purchases and grant you the items you bought.
- To detect cheating, fraud and abuse, and to protect the integrity of the leaderboard.
- To respond to your support requests.
Our legal bases under the GDPR are (a) performance of a contract — running the game you asked to play, (b) our legitimate interest in keeping the game fair and secure, and (c) your consent, where applicable.
4. Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Hosting providers: our servers run on Hetzner Online GmbH in the European Union.
- App stores: Google LLC and Apple Inc., strictly for purchase verification.
- Google Sign-In: Google LLC, strictly to verify the ID token returned to us at sign-in.
- Authorities: where we are required to by law, court order, or to protect our rights.
5. Data retention
- Account and gameplay data: kept while your account exists and for up to 30 days after you delete it, so we can recover from an accidental deletion.
- Server logs: up to 30 days.
- Purchase records: as required by Estonian tax and accounting law (currently 7 years).
6. Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar laws, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Have your data erased ("right to be forgotten").
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (in Estonia: AKI).
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@memeleon.world from the address tied to your account. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Deleting your account
DELETE ACCOUNT - Memeleon Clicker from the address linked to your account. We will permanently erase your player record, gameplay data, achievements, skins and friend links within 14 days. Purchase records that we are legally required to keep (see Section 5) will be anonymised — they will no longer be tied to your identity.
8. Children
Memeleon Clicker is not directed at children under 13 (under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please email us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We store your data on encrypted disks, transmit it over TLS, hash session tokens, and apply the principle of least privilege to operator access. No system is perfectly secure, however; if you spot a vulnerability please email security@memeleon.world.
10. International transfers
Your data is stored in the European Union. When you sign in with Google, sign-in metadata may be processed by Google LLC in the United States under their own privacy framework. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses for such transfers where required.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page will always show when it last changed. If we make material changes we will surface a notice inside the game before the new Policy takes effect.
